Pray-ers:
As
you probably know, Global Capacity’s annual trip to Rwanda begins next week. Joe Knight (a board member
and program committee chair) and I are headed there on Sunday, August 19. We
will be there for 1 ½ weeks, returning on Wednesday, August 29. We’ll be
staying at a motel in Kigali, which is about a ten minute motorcycle ride from
Akindege, which is the village we work in.
I
am encouraged by Colossians 2:6-7 today:
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you
must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your
lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were
taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
I
pray that our roots will grow deep into Jesus and that our lives will be built
on Him.

Good day.
I just came across your face book page now by reading a comment someone posted. You guys do amazing work! I can`t put in a prayer request for the trip now, as you are probably back home already. I will however pray for the planning and organizing of all your future endeavours. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and use you as you go to the nations for His name`s sake.
Faith, hope and love.
